Creativity is not optional. Vote for the Arts.
For too long, the arts have been treated as a luxury. But the reality is that art, culture, and creativity are inextricably linked to thriving communities and a healthy democracy. Creative expression is powerful, but voting is how we protect it. This election season, we are mobilizing everyone who values the impact of the arts to show up and make their voices heard at the ballot box.

About the ArtsVote Campaign: ArtsVote is a national, nonpartisan, year-round movement jointly presented by Americans for the Arts (AFTA) and the Arts Action Fund (AAF). Recognizing that the arts are an essential component of thriving communities, ArtsVote mobilizes artists, arts organizations, and everyday citizens to advocate for the creative economy at the ballot box. Since its inception, ArtsVote has worked to bridge the gap between cultural engagement and civic action. For the 2026 election cycle, the campaign is expanding into a nationwide grassroots initiative—arming local nonprofits, museums, galleries, and creators with the resources, educational toolkits, and organizing strategies they need to ensure the arts are recognized as vital community infrastructure.
By empowering voters to understand the profound economic and social impact of the arts, ArtsVote ensures that creativity is never treated as optional. Learn more, download our organizing tools, and join the movement at artsvote.org.
